If I told you that I worked in HR i’d be lying, and if I told you I even began to remotely understood HR Professionals then I’d really be lying. In fact I really don’t get them at all.
As an Individual, I have at least an Associate Degree in Biology, a BSc. Economics and Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Project Management. The school where I completed my graduate degree has ranked 5th in the UK and thirty-fifth in the world for employability of graduates for at least three (3) consecutive years yet Human Resources Personnel never found me equipped enough to work in their establishments. Despite my years of professional experience, I struggled to be called for a single interview or be told that “I have been selected for the position of…”. Instead I’ve been told, it was better for me to volunteer to get my “foot in the door”, that I was too qualified or that I couldn’t get a job just like that. I was perplexed but noted that several of the entities went on to deal with issues such as high turn over rates, loss of value and almost cessation of business. I don’t say these things to undermind or undervalue this company but to let you know that I’ve been there and tried that and for the most part i’ll understand. I’m hear to say that it’s my view that everyone has the right to employment, a decent pay and work-life balance. My goal is not to bring you jobs only but to be a valuable source for when you are employed, in between jobs and everything before or after that. I believe that today you may need a job/to advertise but next week we may need a new dentist or a place to grab some lunch with the family. I hope this all inclusive resource will be valuable to you!
Other than that, My name is Julia, I live on an island in the Caribbean with my family and I love to travel.
